21 temples en 3 jours ! On était dans le décor de Tomb Rider et au lieu de croiser Angelina Jolie, on a vu que des chinois ! Les quelques photos que vous allez voir sont précieuses car peu ou pas de chinois y apparaissent!
Sinon le guide nous a dit que l'Amarita était le graal local donnant la quasi immortalité. On a donc tenté la Margarita, sur un malentendu ça peut marcher ;)

21 temples in 3 days! We were in the place were they shot Tomb Rider but instead of seeing Angelina Jolie, we saw only Chinese people! The pictures that you will see are precious because there is almost no Chinese on it!
The guide told us that Amarita was the local Grail giving immortality, so we tried the cocktail Margarita... We never know... It could work!

Périple Sianouville-Angkor et 1er jour Angkor/ Trip to Angkor and First day in Temple city

Hier, Nous avons fait les bouteilles orangina pendant plus de 12h dans un bus cambodgien. À la fin du trajet, on aurait presque pu dire le prénom de la Grand mère de chaque passager tellement on est rester longtemps dans ce satané bus.
Aujourd'hui levées 7h pour visiter les temples (wat) de 8h à 17h30. On est incollable sur les divinité de la religion Cambogienne! Shiva, Visnu, Brama et toute la clic! Demain on remet ça!

Yesterday, we've been shaken during more than 12 hours. Happily, we're not soda bottle ! We've spent so much time in this bus that we nearly know every traveler.
Today, wake up at 7am, taxi to the temple (wat) at 8 am, then visit all day long and come back at 5:30 pm. Now we nearly know every things about Cambodian gods. We still have 2days to increase our level of knowledge of Cambodian culture and religion!

Journée éreintante: lever 9h, buffet petit déjeuner géant, piscine, plage,sauna, jacuzzi, resto et enfin lutte pour pas se prendre un feu d'artifice dans la figure ! Heureusement demain nous allons faire 12h de bus!!!

Exhausting day: wake up at 9, giant breakfast, swimming pool, beach, sauna, jacuzzi, restaurant, and finally trying to avoid to catch a firework in the face ! Fortunately, tomorrow we gonna spend 12 hours in a bus!!!

Saint-Tropez Katmandou

Quelques jours à Kep qui était le St Tropez indochinois du temps des colonies. Un petit tour sur la rabbit Island qui est le nouveau Katmandou des hippies. Et où on a expérimenté l'expédition en jungle tropicale... en tongs!!!

Some days in Kep, which was the Saint-Tropez of Indochine during the colonies time. And on rabbit island which is the new Katmandou of hippies . And where we experimented the expedition in the tropical jungle... in flip flaps!!!

Phnom Penh 1er jour/ First steps in Phnom Penh

Malgré un flot de tuktukien plutôt insistants nous avons réussi à aller au musée national à pied! Visite très instructive avec pleins de bouddha assis, debout, allongés, en méditation .... En marche vers la station de bus qui hélas n'existe plus (un tuktukien nous l'a confirmé). Encore à pied sous le soleil jusqu'au central market ( marché plus rond que central d'ailleurs). Enfin, délivrance, nous craquons pour un tuktuk qui nous amène jusqu'au palais Royal. Très beau avec plein de truc à prendre en photo. 17h : retour à l'hôtel pour tester notre piscine privée. Verdict : un peu froide !

Et vous pourrez voir sur certaines photos la mascotte de notre voyage. Au Cambodge, il est surnommé ... Bouddhaaaaaa!

Despite people chasing us with their "tuktuk", we managed to go to the national museum by foot. Interesting visit with a lot of Buddha standing, sitting, lying, in meditation... We were looking for a bus station that doesn't exist anymore ( a tuktukian told us) so we went to the market and finally to the royal palace by tuktuk :) wonderful!
17h: back to the hotel to test our private swimming pool. Verdict: Cold

And you might see in some pictures our travel mascot. In cambodia, he likes to be called Buddhaaaaaaaa!

Arrivée à Phnom Penh/ Arrival at Phnom Penh

Enfin à destination après une escale assez tendue à Bangkok et des services de l'immigration un peu bourrus.
Température ambiante 30 degrés C.
Humidité de l air : 99%!
Température de la piscine: ? (pas encore testée). Et on a aussi les massages gratuits!
Here we are in Cambodia. Transfert at Bangkok was short and immigration services not so helpful.
Outside temperature 30 degree Celsius. Humidity : 99%. Swimming pool temperature? (bot tested yet). Free massage.

Départ pour l inconnu / ready to go

Ça y est on est devant le guichet d'embarquement. C'est parti pour 24h d'avion.Premier stop Heathrow puis Bangkok et enfin arrivée à Phom Penh demain soir le 17/01 à 18h40 heure locale.
Here we are, in front of the boarding gate, ready for a 24h trip. First stop at Heathrow then Bangkok and finally Phom Penh tomorrow evening :)
